Cool nursery deco by Inke

How cool is this? The leaves are handcut designer and vintage wallpaper. The tree wallpaper costs a hefty $323 and the birdhouse lamp another pocket burning $296. Both are available here at the incredibly cute shop, Enfant Terrible.

I say, if you are not prepared to spend that much for a nursery, it will be a fun DIY project to construct this yourself. The tree truck can be painted on your wall and you can use some decoupage glue to stick leaves cut from scrapbook paper or lovey pages cut from old magazines or picture books. The birdhouse lamp casing can be constructed from corrugated cardboard or some balsa wood bought from a local arts store.

Kids Factory

I posted these rooms I found at Kidsfactory on my design blog at Laissezfaire. I really think these are probably one of the most enchanting rooms for children I have ever come across. It is so lovely to grow up in a room where it seems like nothing is impossible...where one can dream and have your imagination take you as far as you would like to go. There are lots more inspirational images and even a 360degree panorama of the rooms here!

Vintage for Kids

I recently stumbled upon this website Vintage for Kids. Founder Olga Perez used to be an interior designer who started to develop a huge passion for vintage children’s furniture and fun objects for kids after the birth of her son. Besides selling vintage furniture and very nice accessories in their store in Antwerpen (Belgium), Olga also designs and produces small items for children herself. Their website is written in dutch but their pictures cross language barriers.
