Pink Elephant Labs

Here are some lovely photos taken of Eva, one of the winners of our recent "Pupsik in a Pouch" Contest. As our winner, beautiful Eva had won for herself an outdoor photoshoot by Pink Elephant Labs. How adorable is she?!?! I love how natural the pictures are taken and the bright cheerful colours that simply pop! I am sure these would look simply lovely framed up in Eva's nursery. For a limited time only, Pink Elephant Labs will be offering Pupsik Fans a 10% discount for their studio package and a 20% discount for their outdoor package. More details of their packages can be found on their website.

To be eligible for the discount, the session must be booked by July 15, 2010, and the session date must fall before August 15, 2010. A $50 deposit is required to reserve their slot. When booking, they just need to put PUPSIKFAN as their e-mail subject. The first 10 people to book a session will receive a further 20% discount for any additional items (extra prints, a CD of images from the session, coffee table books, etc.) should they decide to purchase.

Thank you Pink Elephant Labs!

Imagekind Story Frame™

I recently found out about Imagekind, the world's fastest-growing online community for creating, buying and selling custom framed artwork and photography. Imagekind recently released their "Story Frame™" collection, a group of customized framing products that allows anyone to transform a series of digital images into a story worth telling.

It has been a few months since I got the very talented Ron Lee of Eyedea's photography to capture the moments of my little girl Vera playing in a park. Some of the gorgeous pictures Ron took were sent to Imagekind and transformed in a gorgeous story frame that is now hanging in Vera's room. I really like the idea that Imagekind’s high museum quality framed works will ensure that the pictures will be preserved and kept as a wonderful keepsake for my child as she grows up.

If you have a kiddo, you may be interested to know that Imagekind is currently organising a "First Moments" Contest. Between now and March 15th, you can send 2 or 3 digital photos of your child’s “firsts” - first day of school, baby’s first bites, first trip to the beach, first time meeting Grandma, that together tell a great story. It could be a collection of different “firsts” or a few shots of one great moment. Imagekind will choose four lucky winners whose photos tell the best story to receive a custom Story Frame™ worth $100. To enter, simply email them your digital photos along with a brief explanation to firstmoments@imagekind.com

Janine Stow Photography

Classic and timeless photography by Janine Stow. Janine likes to work with families in the comfort of their surroundings, rather than a studio, as children tend to be more relaxed in a familiar environment. She also feels that the photographs will be more personal if they have a familiar background such as a home which would serve as a reminder of your children at that place and time in their lives. Do check out Janine's website for more wonderful pictures. A beautiful way to capture the memories of your child.

Footprints

I came across this beautiful photography website called Footprints today. Their photographic style is honest, natural and elegant, celebrating life, love and family. Ph0tographer Erin Drallos started professional photography in 1997. She calls her business FOOTPRINTS to remind herself that when she went through the most difficult time in her life, with the lost of her best friend and mother, she now looks back and sees only one set of footprints... "And I knew HE carried me."
